Secret pets, cutscenes, and pity

Secret slots stay hidden until the egg's normal pets are complete. Pity at 15,000 hatches is a 50/50 between the current egg and an older island.

How a secret hatch is different

Secret pets are not on the egg card until you have hatched every standard pet that egg lists, from the common end through mythicals such as Cerberus. After that, the silhouette and the numeric odds appear.

A successful secret roll stops auto-hatch. The screen says Hold to Reveal. Holding plays a cinematic, then a card with the rarity, the odds, and a global exist count. Shinigami's scene is described as a moonlit ritual titled The Reaper's Toll. Void Overseer cards have been seen with serials such as #26 and #39. Those serials are examples from pulls, not a fixed population.

Lobby boards behind the main podiums track secret hatches.

Reported secrets

Two writeups disagree on Forsaken Knight. One lists 1 in 4,000,000 and calls it the rarest secret on the final egg. The other lists 1 in 2,000,000 and a global hatch announcement. Both figures are kept. The egg card, once unlocked, is the number to trust.

Pet Reported place Reported odds
Forsaken Knight Shadow Realm final egg, or other advanced eggs 1 in 4,000,000 in one report, 1 in 2,000,000 in another
Shinigami Shadow Realm egg 1 in 1,000,000
Oasis Spirit Desert egg, also a pity pull from Void Egg 1 in 1,000,000
Void Overseer Void Egg 1 in 500,000, with a reported base multiplier over 400,000
Pumpkin egg secret Autumn or Pumpkin egg 1 in 500,000, display name not published
Crystal Geode secret Crystal Cave 1 in 500,000 to 1 in 1,000,000, display name not published
Flame Fungi Mushroom egg Odds not published

Kronos is described as a developer hatch-bundle pet, not a standard island secret. Do not hunt it on the Void Egg.

Pity and boosts

The pity meter fills at 15,000 hatches in the hatch notes. The paid roll is 50 percent the current egg's secret and 50 percent a secret from a previous island. That is why a Void Egg pity can still be an Oasis Spirit.

Other boosts that are actually described:

  • Secret Hunter, 1,999 Robux, secret pets 30 percent easier
  • Lucky, 249 Robux, two rolls, keep the rarest
  • Super Luck, 799 Robux, three rolls, keep the rarest, and it replaces Lucky rather than stacking
  • Four Leaf, an extra 5x roll every 25 eggs
  • 5x Mythic and Galaxy server events
  • Autumn shrine luck or golden-chance blessings, tier 2 at 10 minutes and tier 3 at 25 minutes
  • All 15 shiny stars. One report says this is a permanent 4 percent shiny mutation buff. Another says the full set unlocks direct rainbow hatching. Those may be two descriptions of one unlock. The on-screen confirmation is the effect you received.

The egg-roll calculator on this site estimates independent odds only. It does not simulate pity.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What do you actually do in Tap Simulator: Reborn?

Tap anywhere to earn Coins, hatch eggs for pets that multiply those Coins, and rebirth to turn the Coin wallet into Gems plus a permanent tap multiplier. Gems buy the skill tree. Islands open by portal fees or by jumping up to them.

Does rebirth delete pets?

No. Rebirth spends the Coins you are holding. Pets, pet tiers, inventory, unlocked islands, shiny stars, and purchased gem upgrades stay.

Are there working codes?

No published reward-code string was found for this experience. The shop has a Support a Creator field for partner credit on Robux purchases. That field is not a free-item code, and codes from the original Tap Simulator belong to a different game.

Can you trade pets?

The public game description says trading is coming soon. Separate play notes say trading was on briefly and then turned off to fix duplication and interface bugs. Treat the current listing line as the status until the developers say it is open.
